Problems we see in playgrounds around Tampines:
- Facilities are not well maintained
- Dirty and vandalised
- Facilities dirty and rusty, which may expose the children using the playground to germs and bacteria.
- Disabled children unable to play the playgrounds.
- Children falling down and often injure themselves
- Wet slides
How can we improve on the playgrounds?
- Add in more facilities to the playground
- Avoid vandalising and littering
- Build using smooth material for the ground
- Keep them dry
In what ways can you make the playground more appealing to other groups of people?
- Add in more colours to attract them
- keep the environment clean
- Add new playing equipments
- Make a shelter on top. This will allow people to play regardless of rain or shine.
how can we make our playground more accessible for the disabled children?
-Build more ramps, railings and more benches around the playground.
-Build playground in crowded places so that people can help them when something happen.
-Build the ground with smooth material, therefore they will not injure themselves when they fall.
