Problems we see in playgrounds around Tampines:
- Not every playgrounds is barrier-free
- Not all facilities can be used by every groups of people (etc. monkey can't be used by disableds as some of them are wheelchair bounded.)
- Not enough rubbish bins
How can we improve on the playground?
- try not to litter
- not to vandalise the playground
In what ways can you make the playground more appealing to other groups of people?
General- having a barrier-free playground.
- incorporate more colours
Facilities- Designate areas for different people with different ability (minimises discrimination faced)
- grow more trees around the playground
(provides shade for users, able to keep soul healthy by having a more serence surrounding.)
how can we make our playgrounds more accessible for the disabled children?
- put lesser stairs and more slopes.
